ICYMI: Disney recently revealed that Hocus Pocus, the iconic movie that we all watch during Halloween tine, is getting remade.
YAAAS!
However, our parade was quickly rained on when we learnt that the original cast wouldn’t be returning.
Um…. Why though?
Deadline reports that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy won’t be returning to their roles, and neither will the original director Kenny Ortega.
Recently, the movies screenwriter Mick Garris recently spoke to Forbes about the remake, and even he admitted it would be ridiculous not to have the original cast.
“If they don’t do that I think it would be a big mistake because all three of them are still so incredibly potent and powerful and great performers and who else can recreate those characters?”
