Now, Pottermore has released a list of Harry Potter terms that people usually pronounce wrong.
None were very surprising… aside from the word KNUT. Yeah, the wizard money.
Forever thinking that it was “nut,” with a silent “k,” since the English language usually follows that rule. But nope, it’s pronounced “ca-nut.”
Canut, like CANNOT, sorta.
