Ever since Hailee Steinfeld broke into Hollywood, she has been pursuing both acting and singing. What a talent.
However now, she’s just made a HUGE break in the acting world: landing a lead role in a major new television series.
Deadline reports that Hailee will be portraying the amazingly iconic poet Emily Dickinson, in new Apple TV series Dickinson.
The publication describes the show: “Dickinson is set during Emily Dickinson’s era with a modern sensibility and tone. It takes viewers into the world of Emily, audaciously exploring the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of a budding writer who doesn’t fit into her own time through her imaginative point of view. Dickinson is Emily’s coming-of-age story — one woman’s fight to get her voice heard.”
Uh yeah, sounds incredible right?
Hailee couldn’t hold back her excitement either.
“SO VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS” she wrote on an Instagram story with a screengrab about her leading the show.
