That’s right, HBO writer Eric Eidelstein has unveiled a photo on Twitter that brings us BACK thirteen years.

The poster is FULL of “XOXO’s” and the very famous line “You know you’ll love me.”
There is a pair of legs dangling on the MET steps in New York, where Blair and Serena ruled.
The only difference? The shoes aren’t Jimmy Choos or Loubs, they’re Golden Goose sneakers. How very *un* Upper East Side, but it’s a welcome change that the show is ought to bring.
Nobody goes to school in stilettoes.

The most important thing to take away from the teaser is that it confirms the show returns THIS YEAR!
“Stream on HBO Max in 2020,” wrote Eric Eidelstein.

But the change of style isn’t the only switch up in the show. Producer Joshua Safran has revealed that the cast will be a lot more diverse.
“There was not a lot of representation the first time around on the show,” he admitted.
“I was the only gay writer I think the entire time I was there. Even when I went to private school in New York in the ’90s, the school didn’t necessarily reflect what was on Gossip Girl. So, this time around the leads are nonwhite. There’s a lot of queer content on this show. It is very much dealing with the way the world looks now, where wealth and privilege come from, and how you handle that.”
