Harry Styles blessed us with another new track called ‘Ever Since New York’ on Saturday Night Live last week and the entire fandom immediately jumped to one conclusion: that it’s about Taylor Swift!

Now, the song has everyone talking again… for all the wrong reasons! The One Direction hottie has been accused of copyright infringement after people noticed that the guitar riff sounds ~a lot~ like the one in the ’70s hit ‘Baby Blue’ by Badfinger.
The song is clearly fresh in people’s minds because it actually gained popularity all over again when it was used in Breaking Bad.
Some fans have straight out accused him of ripping off the band while others are wondering if Haz even realises that the riff is the same.

So did Harry Styles get permission to use that riff from Baby Blue by Badfinger in Ever Since New York? #SNL #HarryStylesOnSNL

I guess Harry Styles thought that nobody would remember the riffs and transitions from Badfinger's "Baby Blue."

Can't believe what's going on with Harry and Baby Blue. Even if it sound similar he would never do anything like that on purpose!!!😤😤😤

Just wondering if Harry realizes he used Badfinger's 'Baby Blue' guitar riff in his song 'Ever Since New York' 😳

To be fair, if you listen to both tracks the riff does actually sound exactly the same but so far, Neither Harry or Badfinger have responded to the claims.
