And today in ‘old school shows and flicks being rebooted bc Hollywood is out of ideas’, a live-action Dumbo movie is coming.
Yaaaaaaaaaaas.
The flick is being brought to life by legendary (not to mention freaky AF) director Tim Burton who worked on Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Actors Michael Keaton, Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito and Eva Green have signed on to star in the flick, Variety reports.
Will Smith was ~rumoured~ to be involved in the project but pulled out due to scheduling conflicts.
*cough* Aladdin! *cough*
Woah, what? Who said that!?
The OG Dumbo flick first aired in 1941 and scored an Academy Award for it’s *brilliance*.
Rumour has it Tim Burton’s adaptation will include both live-action and animated scenes.
Interesting, huh!?
We’re still a while off from uncovering all the deets as the film isn’t due to come out ’til March 29, 2019.
Get excited, peeps!
