According to Collider, they have ‘heard’ that the one and only Donald Glover could be playing Willy Wonka in the next Charlie And the Chocolate Factory movie.
Other actors in the running for the lead include Ryan Gosling, and Ezra Miller, which we’re also pretty F-ing happy about.
Paddington director Paul King has already secured he project as his own, which will be based on a screenplay by Simon Rich.
So what makes this movie different to the first two (starring Gene Wilder and then Johnny Depp)?? Roald Dahl novel, instead it will be a prequel focusing on Willy Wonka’s origin story, which sounds 100 times better really.
Kind of sick of seeing Augustus Gloop fall into that chocolate river TBH, and the only interesting person from the film is Willy Wonka.
