TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio just dropped the music video to her debut single, “Be Happy,” and we’re officially dubbing it a total self-isolation mood.
The 18-year-old D’Amelio sibling first released the song, which was inspired and created while in quarantine, last Friday.
At the time she said, “I remain so grateful for the people that surround me and the opportunities I’ve been given, but some days, as we all know, it’s not easy to be happy. My hope is that anyone who listens can be reminded that it’s okay to feel what we feel. It’s okay to have a bad day. We all have them and you are not alone.”
The music video features her singing around her gorgeous home, procrastinating and lounging about (an ultimate 2020 mood), declaring that “sometimes I don’t want to be happy, don’t hold it against me. If I’m down just leave me there, let me be sad.”
