Disney's 'Recess' is getting a live-action remake!

We know it’s the era of live-action remakes, but we never expected freaking Recess to join the cue!

The TV show will be made into a film, but will follow a more mature story like.

It will even take on issues of “love, peer pressure, social media, [and] identity.”

The movie is being produced by an independent team in Vancouver, featuring new and old faces.

Benjamin Wadsworth, (Deadly Class), will play TJ, and Emilija Baranac (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), will be one of The Ashleys. Sydney Scotia and Kelcey Mawema will play the other two.
