No. We cannot handle this. After Queen Bey was forced to pull out of this year’s Coachella (due to the impending arrival of her twins), the news/rumours/insta-proof that the complete Destiny’s Child crew could be getting back together to perform at the festival in 2018 is more than we could handle.
What started the whispers? Pretty much every member of the group has cryptically tweeted or Instagrammed clues this week, which were (of course) picked up by the Beyhive and duly noticed by Vogue US. First, Beyonce (who has a history of such hint-dropping on social media) posted the below image of an AC/DC shirt – with only the DC showing. What does it stand for?
Destiny’s Child.
Cue Michelle Williams posting an old stage costume from the last time the group performed together on her Instagram Stories (pictured in the tweet above) together with – wait for it – the bee emoji. What does it stand for?
Beyonce.
To round it out (and to really send the Beyhive into full meltdown mode), LeToya posted the above throwback pic and LaTavia hinted at a super-secret, super-exciting new project.
