While the entire Love Simon was a rollercoaster of emotions (or should we say ferris wheel), this deleted scene HURTS.
BuzzFeed premiered the scene, which shows Simon (Nick Robinson) coming home drunk from a bar, having an argument with his mum Emily (Jennifer Garner).
The scene shows Simon getting really upset because he doesn’t want his mum, who is a therapist, to treat him like one of her patients. When his mum then says that she’s been doing some research on the local LGBTIQ+ teen groups, he really gets upset.
Ouch, the feels.
Another scene shows Simon’s friend Nick trying to take him to a gay bar.
Word on the street is that Colton Haynes actually featured in the gay bar scene, but it eventually got deleted from the movie.
Why would they do that to us?
