Alright, we’re not gonna sugar coat it: a whole lotta sh*t went down between Jughead and Betty in season 2 of Riverdale and our hearts, minds, feels and souls were put through the wringer.
As the season finale is nigh, Riverdale fans are busy wondering what the eff is gonna happen after the garbage fire that was the first half of the season, and Cole Sprouse has let us in on a few ~interesting~ tidbits.
“I can’t say much about the finale, but I will say that Jughead’s made a lot of enemies in season two,” he told Glamour.
“Big ones. His war path has put a target on his back and he’s put in a very vulnerable position and has a lot of eyes on him, and I think it all comes to a head.”
And as for the fate of Bughead, things are sounding promising!
“They’re both dealing with huge issues, massive, mind-breaking issues, and I think they still try to hold on to that communication that makes them strong,” Cole adds. “I think the end [of season two] is a good [place] for them.”
We’re gonna be realistic here, this could mean that their relationship takes a positive turn (PLS GOD YAS) or it could mean that they’re donezo but they’re on good terms.
We’ll just have to wait and see…
