There will be a throwback to when Sabrina is younger, and the actress they have cast to play her is a SPITTING IMAGE of Kiernan Shipka.
Meet: McKenna Grace.
12-year-old Mckenna Grace has been cast to play the role. Entertainment Weekly states, “During our holiday special, we’ll get to see what Sabrina was like as a precocious tot. And while The Church of Night celebrates the Solstice, that doesn’t stop Li’l Sabrina from asking Santa for something special.”
What will it be about?
Netflix’s synopsis for the episode reads, “The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year — when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — you never know what might come down the chimney…”
Kiernan Shipka, who plays Sabrina Spellman, called the episode “INSANE” on her Instagram, adding “There’s an extra extra super special secret surprise in it that I think everyone is going to freak out about.”
