Chelsie split from astrophysicist Matt Agnew just two months after the finale aired, with rumours swirling hard and fast that Matt had cheated on the Melbourne born chemical engineer.

Now, Chelsie has admitted that the constant messages about her old relationship are getting too much to handle, revealing she decided to opt for an alcohol-free weekend to try and get her mental health back on track.

“Dealing with heartbreak SUCKS and dealing with harsh messages doesn’t help. I’ve been strong enough to deal with all of this but I am definitely worried for those that aren’t. We need to know that unwarranted opinions need to be taken with a grain of salt. THANK YOU to everyone that has had my back. It honestly means the world to me.”

Chelsie then shared some NUTS messages she’s received from trolls, who called her names such as “crazy”, “clingy” and “not that hot”.

FYI, this type of trolling behaviour is disgusting and must stop, and we applaud Chelsie’s bravery for calling these people out on their behaviour.

But for every awful aspect of society is an equally amazing one, as the Bachie sisterhood came out in full force to throw their support behind Chelsie.

Among the Bachie girls to comment on Chelsie’s brave post were her fellow co-stars Jessica Brody, Emma Roche, Elly Miles, as well as Brittany Hockley from Nick Cummin’s season, Elora Murger from Matty J’s season, and this year’s Bachelorette Angie Kent

Ladies, this is the kind of support we love to see in the face of gross online trolling and shaming of women.
