Baby Driver 2 is COMING!
Ansel Elgort has revealed the sequel is now likely to happen.
WATCH him reveal the news in the video below.
In a new interview with MTV News, the 25-year-old actor dished that he has seen a finished script thanks to director of the hit 2017 flick, Edgar Wright.
“Yes, I think it’s going to happen. I think there will be a Baby Driver 2. It has a different title, actually. You’re gonna have to have to ask Edgar that, though” said The Fault in Our Stars hottie.
Receiving three Oscar nominations and making waves at the box office ($226 million worldwide) a follow-up was bound to happen.
Director, Edgar Wright also hinted at a follow-up flick in an interview with Empire.
“Most sequels you have to contrive something so they go back to square one, unless there’s somewhere deeper for them to go. I think with Baby Driver there’s more that you can do in that realm, and I sort of have an idea that if you did another [film], you would subvert his involvement in the crime in a different way so he’s not kind of the apprentice anymore” said Edgar.
If Baby Driver 2 does go ahead, it won’t happen anytime in the near future as Elgort is currently too busy filming West Side Story.
