Our fave rockers Five Seconds of Summer have opened up about that time they toured with our other fave boy band One Direction and we are LIVING.
The boys chatted to Apple Music’s Beats 1 Chart show host Brooke Reese to celebrate the release of their amazing new single “Easier” and spilt so much tea.
Drummer, Ashton Irwin revealed “Something we found when we toured with One Direction a couple of years ago, was obviously were younger guys in two bands, but we were a rock band. And putting that with a boy band at the time was an awesome, diverse tour.”
The Aussie rockers have also recently toured with “Closer” hitmakers The Chainsmokers, whom they also collaborated with on EDM smash “Who Do You Love”.
Ashton dished “I’m intrigued, particularly by the Chainsmokers and their work ethic. They understand what music fans think of them. They understand what the general audience thinks of them. They have a very, very clear understanding of who they are and where they stand in the music industry.”
“I’ve never seen anyone work harder than these guys, and they’re going to create a fantastic show” he added.
