After what has felt like THE longest wait in the history of waiting, the next season of 13 Reasons Why is almost here! How do we know? ‘Coz the first teaser has just dropped via the show’s official Instagram account!
In the mega cryptic vid, we see a slew of polaroids flying around the characters, revealing dark and disturbing images.
Are polaroids the new tapes!?
This theory is supported by the final polaroid as well as the caption which reads:
“The tapes were just the beginning.”
The caption also reveals that the second season drops on May 18 which is in 18 FREAKING days! *screams internally*
The official premise of the second season is:
“Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Hannah’s death and the start of our characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah’s death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.”
