For a while now, we’ve been wondering whether or not Sabrina Spellman (aka Sabrina the Teenage Witch, who is also part of Archie comics) would turn up in Riverdale.
Well, we’re here to remind you that back when KJ Apa was at Comic-Con not too long ago, he confirmed it. “Sabrina, I don’t know if you’re familiar with Sabrina from the comics, she’s going to come. Yeah, she comes in our last episode.”
SCREAMING!!!
The theory has always stood that Sabrina would help resurrect Jughead’s dod, Hotdog, from the dead after he gets hit by a car, and in doing so, create a zombie outbreak. We aren’t sure whether or not this will be the theory that plays out, but she is coming and the finale’s promo even explains that “Jughead finds himself in an unexpected situation.”
What’s more unexpected than befriending a freaking witch?!
One Reddit user, AquaticFoxes even pointed out that Sabrina made an appearance in the last episode…
Yerp, that’s F.P reading a Sabrina Archie comic while in jail. Gob-smacked.
As for the promo, people think that this screengrab has something to do with her as well, as there is a witchy/voodoo type doll hanging up on a locker. Is that now, Sabrina’s locker?
So many theories, such little time.
All we do know, is that fans are BEGGING show creators to cast Disney star Dove Cameron for the role of Sabrina, which doesn’t seem so far fetched after Dove and creators supported the idea on Twitter. But could it all happen so fast if the episode is THIS WEEK?!
One thing is for sure, the finale is going to be insane. Especially after this incredible theory is going around that links the Blossoms & the Coopers & Lodge family in the most twisted way ever.
