Turns out Ariana Grande isn’t your only fave who announce they’re engaged this weekend. Riverdale’s Casey Cott did, too.
Over the weekend, Cott, 28, shared a photo of him and his girlfriend—or should we say fiancé—with an engagement ring on her finger. The CW star captioned the post with three diamond ring emojis, and the pair were seen grinning with huge smiles on their faces.
And, ofc, Cott’s Riverdale co-stars were in love with the news. “So happy for you two,” Camila Mendes, who plays Veronica, commented. “I’m so happy about this,” Madelaine Petsch, who plays Cheryl, added with a heart-eyes emoji.
Vanessa Morgan, who is expecting a baby soon, shared, “So happyyyyy for you two.” According to Teen Vogue, her IRL pregnancy will be written into the show’s new season. You can learn more about Riverdale season 5, including the theory that Archie dies in it, here.
While the identity of Cott’s fiancee is unknown, the pair have been spotted together for a while. We’re thinking specifically of a cute matching leather jacket pic from December last year, and another super cute goofy selfie they took together in April.
