Pantone, AKA masters of colour, have revealed the 10 colours they reckon we’ll see EVERYWHERE in 2017. Speaking about the colours, they’ve said they’re a “mixture of vitality, relaxation and the great outdoors.” Sounds like my weekend…
Some are clearly summer or winter hues, but it’s a pretty good range!
Not sure if Kale has just been named that because it’s #trendy, but whatevs, we like khaki shades!
Pantone Colour Institute’s executive director Leatrice Eiseman explains where the inspo comes from, saying, “Obviously, a really important part of where the fashion industry is headed [is availability]. You have to look at things and ask would people say, ‘I love that color. I want it now.’ For us, it also plays into that whole idea of transitional seasons and offering options that are not just typical of seasons.”
