The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.

This year, things have been a little different due to COVID, but that hasn’t stopped designers and celebs from showing up for the prestigious event.

In what has been an extremely patriotic decision, this year’s theme is “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”. According to the museum, guests are to “explore a modern vocabulary of American fashion”.
