In case you missed it, late last month, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and Jonas brother singer Joe Jonas welcomed their first child into the world. But, outside of Turner’s bomb dot com fashion while pregnant, you wouldn’t have any idea. In fact, even now, you’d be hard pressed to actually hear about it from the new parents given there’s not a single mention of their newfound parenthood or near month-old daughter, Willa, on their socials.
That is, until this weekend…
Over the weekend, Joe turned 31, and Sophie, 24, shared an adorable short but sweet message for her husband and father of her child, finally addressing the fact they’re, y’know, parents.
“Happy birthday to my love, bub [and] baby daddy 🥵🔥😍♥️”
His brothers, Nick and Kevin, and Bollywood star and sister-in-law Priyanka also shared their love for their eldest and “funniest” sibling on his special day, too.
“You’re the funniest person I know and I love celebrating you,” wrote Nick in a caption featuring Joe mimicking riding a surfboard in front of a green screen. “I feel so lucky to have you as my brother. I love you so much. Happy birthday Joe.”
“Happy birthday @joejonas, love you man,” added Kevin with a photo of Joe with a lemur because??? “Hope you have an incredible day!!”
“Happy Birthday Joe! This photo has been ‘hand picked’ by yours truly! Have an amazing day,” added Priyanka in a now deleted post on her Instagram Story, according to HindustanTimes.
In other news, fans speculate that the X-Men: Dark Phoenix star’s daughter was named after this Game of Thrones character. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcomed their first child into the world on the 22nd of July. Willa’s birth comes a month and a year after the couple got hitched twice in 2019. First, in a small secret legal ceremony in Las Vegas in May (which old mate Diplo live-streamed because, ofc, he did), and then with extended friends and family in June.
