While one couple rises, another falls. If you’re still recovering from the cute photos of rumoured new couple Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde holding hands, prepare yourself because things are looking shaky for one of the most established celebrity couples of the past decade. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly getting a divorce. Yep, the Kimye era might actually be over.
Rumours of Kim and Kanye’s relationship troubles have done the rounds a number of times over the past year. Given Kanye’s erratic behaviour—the absurd memory of him running for president is still pretty fresh—and the public struggles with his mental health he’s had this year, we can only imagine what’s gone on in the family’s private lives. Or, who knows, maybe they’ve just fallen outta love.
Now, “divorce is imminent” reports a source to Page Six. The source, who is apparently close to the celebrity couple (Kris is that you?) also shared that Kim has reportedly hired a celebrity divorce attorney, Laura Wasser as her representative.
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” explained the source. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
Apparently, the couple spent the holidays separately as they sorted things out.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce,” the source said. “She’s done.”
Neither Kim nor Kanye has commented publicly on the divorce rumours yet.
