Over the last few weeks, you’ve no doubt noticed that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s relationship has been going through a bit of a rough spot.
Following a series of comments made by Kanye about Kim, his mother-in-law Kris Jenner and their and their eldest daughter, North, 7, the Yeezus rapper hadn’t spoken to his wife ‘in weeks’. Kim was “furious,” “exhausted” and “very hurt” by all this, and flew all the way to Kanye’s ranch in Cody, Wyoming to finally speak to him.
But, what was the deciding factor that encouraged Kanye to finally respond to his wife’s attempts to reach out and potentially saved their marriage? Apparently, his good ol pal Justin Bieber.
According to a source via People, Bieber, a longtime friend of West and the Kardashians, flew to Kanye’s ranch on the 24th of July with his wife Hailey Bieber to visit the controversial rapper. Earlier this month, West, who was reportedly experiencing a manic episode, made a series of public serious claims about his wife trying to “lock me up,” and revealed that he and Kim allegedly considered aborting North.
“Justin wants to be supportive,” an insider told People. “Justin knows that Kanye has been making new music [in Cody] and appreciates how much pressure it is to produce new music.”
The insider says that the “Yummy” singer is also “beyond supportive” when it comes to mental health. “Justin struggled for so long himself before he got proper help.”
Kanye is currently residing at his ranch in Wyoming while Kim is staying in Los Angeles with their four children—North; Saint, 4; Chicago, 2; and Psalm, 14 months. Last weekend, Kim flew down to see her husband for the first time in weeks and was reportedly seen crying in a tense face-to-face in the car.
But, according to the Daily Mail, Kim, who was spotted back in LA days after for a photoshoot, reportedly feels “trapped” in the marriage and is urging West to quit his U.S. presidential candidacy.
“She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life,” the source said. “But she doesn’t know what to do.”
“She knows that it’s not healthy for her to be around him now, and it’s honestly not healthy for the kids. He needs to get his stuff together before he can be any sort of partner or father.”
