Controversial beauty mogul Jeffree Star is selling his multi-million-dollar home. And, while the inside looks aggressively pink and expensive, all I’m asking is why the bathroom pictured has no doors for some much needed privacy?
According to Dirt.com, the Cremated makeup artist is selling his “Barbie’s dreamhouse” in Calabasas, California for $3.6 million, a shy $20,000 less than the $3.62 million he originally paid for it.
From outside, the property looks like a normal Tuscan-style mansion, but inside, it’s a total bubblegum pink explosion—bubblegum pink walls, an assortment of glossy, ruffled and velvet pink and brown curtains and even two pink chandeliers in the kitchen alone. It’s a lot.
The staircase walls, for their part, are upholstered in a pink tufted leather that was “installed by several craftsmen,” according to Star.
There are six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms (one of which looks to have no doors???) in a 6,800 feet radius (approximately 2072 metres…), attached four-car garage, stainless kitchen appliances, and a relatively large .64-acre lot with a grassy lawn and BBQ centre.
The home is also locked away in a guarded gated community, upgraded with multiple cameras, laser beams, alarms, and when Star was living there, two full time bodyguards. Not to mention the custom bank vault that Star allegedly “spent hundreds of thousands of dollars installing over a period of several months.”
I’m sorry—the what?
Unfortunately there are no images of said vault, but people are still consequently losing it over the house on Twitter.
