According to KTLA, Glee actress Naya Rivera is reportedly missing and presumed dead, after her four-year-old son was found alone on a boat in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California.
Officials say they had a call about a child found alone on a boat. The boy, believed to be Rivera’s son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, was wearing a life jacket and allegedly stranded by himself for three hours before someone on another boat found him.
A search and rescue team searched the lake for the child’s parents but couldn’t find them. Shortly afterwards, the outlet says officials tweeted that they were looking for a missing person and potential drowned victim. Later, they said the missing person was sadly believed to be Glee star Naya Rivera. Several reports are noting that the actress is presumed dead.
It’s unclear what exactly happened to Rivera and her child. If this is true, she would be the third actor on the beloved musical comedy show to have died, following the tragic deaths of Cory Monteith in 2013 and Mark Salling in 2015.
