Adele has shared details about her new album, 30, and all we can say is we’re ready to be a puddle of emotions on November 19th.

Taking on to Instagram, Adele, 33, shared a promo shot for the new record, featuring her stunning side-profile. The caption simply read: “30 – November 19.”
The singer accompanied the image with a lengthy paragraph about the process of making the album, likening the experience to “throwing (herself) into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil”.
“I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life,” the 33-year-old wrote.
She went on to talk about a friend that would come over with wine and takeaway and hold her hand when she cried, and even snuck in with a magazine, face masks, and bath salts to ensure she was still looking after herself. That’s the kind of friend everyone needs.
Adele explained that this friend was selfless enough to check in on the Rumour Has It singer even when she stopped reciprocating the gesture, “because (she’d) become so consumed by (her) own grief”.
“I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it. Home is where the heart is x,” Adele finished the paragraph.
Whispers of Adele’s comeback first hit the media earlier this month. The internet lost its mind when a series of billboards with the number “30” started cropping up around the globe, with many suggesting this was a swanky new marketing campaign for the British musician.
The 33-year-old has three albums named after different ages in her life: 19, 21 and 25. So when that “30” appeared on billboards around Dubai, Ireland, etc. people started putting two and two together.
Then, the singer’s social media quickly updated with the same background as the billboard.
Despite Adele being 33 years old now, fans pointed out that she may have made the record when she was 30, before she divorced her now ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019. Though, this album seems to be dedicated to someone else entirely.
Another fan even suggested that Taylor Swift recently changing the date of her Red re-release was not a coincidence, but rather done intentionally to avoid a clash with the 15 time Grammy award winner.
Here are Stan Twitter’s best reactions to Adele’s takeover.
Despite the songstress telling Late Late Show host James Corden that 25 would be “the last album after (her) age” during her 2016 Carpool Karaoke, it looks like the musician has unfinished business.
Bring on Adele 30!
