We were so distracted by Selena Gomez and The Weeknd‘s first-ever red carpet appearance, that we totally missed the adorable hidden detail that was part of her outfit.
Actually, it was basically impossible to spot. You probably saw she was carrying a super cute purse from Coach that matched her dress.
Now, Coach has shared a BTS shot of the bag and turns out the words “Love yourself first” were printed on the bottom of it.
“@selenagomez’s #MetGala look details. Studded and inked with “love yourself first”—a nod to her tattoo,” they wrote on Insta.
Yup, the sweet message is in honour of Sel’s ink—she has an Arabic translation of the phrase tattooed on the right side of her back. You can just make it out in some of the Meta gala photos.
So sneaky but we love it!
