“Instagram models” like Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid have been in the industry for a while now, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped copping a lot of flack for their family names.
A tale as old as time is the struggling model that was discovered on the street and works her ass off to get to where she is, however that story doesn’t fit in with these three girls, and the world doesn’t like it.
While people have grown to somewhat accept them to be in all the biggest fashion shows, including the most recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, they’re not happy that the brand uses them for clout while disregarding the other models who have been doing it for years.
It started when Victoria’s Secret Instagram page uploaded this photo of Kendall, Bella and Gigi front row, with the OG’s sitting in the second row behind them. Insta page @celebface reposted the photo and asked for fans thoughts.
“Y’all just use Gigi Kendall and Bella for publicity,” one person wrote.
“It’s sad that the angels are in the second row and these three are on the front. How low can you go VS?” said another.
A lot of fans were also unhappy that Kendall got the nicest outfits in the show, when models like Barbara Palvin have “deserve better”.
They’ve also called the trio out for not knowing how to walk.
