So if you’ve read Zoella’s blogs dating back to 2009, you might have seen she mentions that she was an extra in the first and second Harry Potter films! Amazing, right?
Unfortunately she didn’t quite make the cut in the final product. But anytime you watch the potions class scenes in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, know that your mate Zoe Sugg is sitting in the background as “Girl In Potion Class (uncredited)”, looong before she made it big on YouTube.
And tbh, hearing her talk about the experience makes us preeetttty darn jealous:
“I was 10 when they first started filming for the first film, and my primary school is in the village they used. So they came and asked everyone in my year (which was probably about 7 children) if we wanted to be extras. And of course we said yes. I was in Hufflepuff :)”
Ok, so it may not be Gryffindor, but let’s be real, it’s better than Slytherin! Plus a certain someone from the cast even asked her out on a date…
“Devon Murray (who plays Seamus Finnigan) asked me out..haha. I said no. I was 10 years old and boys scared me.”
