If you’re feeling disappointed from the Married At First Sight finale, then you’re not alone.

Viewers were met with only half of the couples getting air time during Sunday night’s final episode, with contestants also pretty ticked off that they didn’t get their airtime.
But why??
A source has revealed to The Daily Mail Australia that the couples left off the couch were either too controversial or too boring.
How weird!
“The producers wanted to end the season with a bang and some of the couples’ segments were just dull and there was nothing left to say,” the insider said.
The fact that Aleks and Ivan were ‘in love’ during the episode was big, but not too scary, so they added that in!
Mishel and Steve had a pretty epic break up at the final commitment ceremony, so that also made its way in. We always knew that Michael and Stacey would make it to the couch because their storyline was the biggest of the season.
Mikey and Natasha made it in there because of Mikey’s involvement in allegedly sleeping with Stacey, which led to her and Michael’s break up!
The exes that got hardly any screen time included: Amanda Micallef and Tash Herz, Josh Pihlak and Cathy Evans, Chris Nicholls and Vanessa Romito, Poppy Jennings and Luke Eglin, and Drew Brauer and KC Osborne.
Since the success rate, this season is really just Lizzie and Seb, it made sense for them to be given a lot of air time right before the finale ended.
Well, colour us bored! #Toothbrushgate didn’t even bring any excitement to the last episode. Sigh.
