Joey King is quickly becoming everyone’s favourite actress. Not only is she incredibly talented but she’s got that Jennifer Lawrence appeal of being totally down to earth.
But that’s not the only trait they share.
It seems like Joey is following in J.Law’s footsteps starting with being incredibly clumsy at awards shows.
Unfortunately for Joey, who attended the 2019 Emmy’s for her performance in The Act, the actress had a bit of a tumble in her gown.

Poor doll.
Thankfully the stack came before the actual event, so she didn’t humiliate herself on the red carpet in front of the paparazzi.
In fact, the red carpet was a big deal for the actress, as she made her debut with her new boyfriend, producer Steven Piet.
The couple was first spotted together at Cinespa’s showing of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets on August 31, after rumours Joey ex, and her Kissing Booth co-star Jacob Elordi was hooking up with Zendaya.
Ouch!
Steven was actually the co-executive producer for the Hulu limited series The Act, which depicts the real-life story of convicted murderer Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who killed her mum Dee Dee after years of abuse.
Joey, as we know, was previously dating Aussie actor Jacob Elordi. The couple met on the set of amazing Netflix movie The Kissing Booth and quickly started dating, but things seemed to cool off in January this year with fans speculating a breakup after Jacob walked the red carpet with his Euphoria co-star, Hunter Schafer.
We do miss the whole Joey and Jacob saga, but we’re happy to see them both moving on.
What does it mean for The Kissing Booth sequel? We’ll just have to wait and see.
