Travis Scott is a first time father! However… his first week with baby Stormi probably isn’t going how he expected.
Instead of being able to spend time with her and be the best dad he can, he’s pleading guilty to disorderly conduct after being arrested nine months ago, for causing a riot during a concert in Arkansas.
Yikes.
According to People, he was first arrested with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Travis actually had his misdemeanour charges dropped last month, pleading guilty for the lowest charge.
“They overcharged him,” attorney Doug Norwood told the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “They tried to get him for inciting a riot. The video did not show any of that.
“He felt bad about anyone being injured and was always willing to pay the restitution.”
Travis had to pay $640 in court fees and $6,825.31 to two people who said they got injured during the concert.
A spokesman for the Rogers Police Department, told People at the time that Travis “encouraged people to rush the stage and bypass security protocols to ensure concert goer safety.”
“During the rush to the stage several people were injured, including an employee from the security company hired to help monitor and control the crowd, and a member of the police department,” he continued. “The injured subjects were treated at the AMP by members of the Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical.”
