They say that the third time is the charm and considering the first two instalments of The Vampire Diaries franchise have been lit, we’re thinking that the incoming third series is gonna blow us (or bite us?) away!
According to a report by Deadline, a new The Originals spinoff is in the works that will centre around Danielle Rose Russell AKA Klaus’ teen daughter, Hope Mikaelsson.
Hope was quick to become a fan favourite after joining the hit series in its fifth season.
The Vampire Diaries/The Originals character Alaric Saltzman will also be a regular in the show.
Deadline also revealed that there will be a short video presentation in the final 13-episode season of The Originals, which will lead into the reboot.
There are currently no plans for any other other TVD/Originals actors to be on the new show, but there’s been talk of *other* characters guest-starring in rando eps.
