“My family ❤️ we were cut short because of covid19 but we drank we laughed and we cried a lot. Hope to see you all again soon, but for now, stay safe and stay healthy. To our crew, words could never express my love and gratitude for you all. à bientôt #TheBoldType,” Katie wrote with the same photo.

Some fans accidentally read this post and thought that it meant the show was cancelled for GOOD!

“Sorry for scaring everyone, should’ve specified. The studio and network are taking Covid-19 very seriously and as are our cast and crew,” she said. “Although we didn’t have anyone test positive, the decision was made to halt production right now for the safety of everyone. We are not cancelled.”

It comes after Riverdale shared the same news last week.

Apparently a crew member of the show came in contact with someone who tested positive… so everything has been shut down on their Vancouver set.

The show reported to The Hollywood Reporter that the “team member is currently receiving medical evaluation”.

“We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member,” the statement read. “The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority. We have and will continue to take precautions to protect everyone who works on our productions around the world.”

Thankfully we have many seasons to binge while the world self-isolates!
