Nina Dobrev, our gorgeous Elena Gilbert, recently spoke to E! News’s Pop of the Morning about Taylor’s almost appearance.
“I remember at the very beginning, we heard that Taylor Swift was a fan of the show. And then the producers tried to write a role for her,” she said. “It didn’t work out schedule-wise, obviously, she wasn’t on the show. But that was a surprising one.”
Nina didn’t reveal what kind of role Taylor would have taken, but we think it would have been when she was still part of the show in the first few seasons.
Funnily enough, the E! hosts pointed out how badly-received Ed Sheeran’s appearance on Game Of Thrones, and wondered if it would have been the same for Tay Tay.
“Oh really?” she said about Ed’s backlash. “Nah, I think she would’ve been great.”
We couldn’t agree more! We mean – have you seen Taylor in the movie Valentine’s Day? It’s iconic.
