Our gal pal SZA hasn’t been having the best time recently.
She’s experiencing some pretty major trouble with her vocal health, describing the damage as potentially “unrepairable”.
The singer – who took Kendrick Lamar’s track All The Stars to a whole new level – has had a serious case of swollen vocal chords.
The damage was so bad that she was forced to miss shows on the TDE Championship Tour to avoid making it worse.
Last week she took to Twitter to let her fans know how she was doing: “My voice is permanently injured. Tonight was the test. That settles that.”
Her original tweet, now deleted, left fans anxious about her health and touring future.
Not long after the tweet was deleted, SZA took to Instagram to share news from Top Dawg, her management.
Despite the rocky events with her health, SZA’s commitment to her fans and music shines through.
