In the most random news ever, Shake It Up Disney star Caroline Sunshine has ditched her acting boots to work in the White House.
From Disney to politics? Who would have known.
In a statement put out by White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters (via CNN), Caroline Sunshine has been named as the WH press assistant.
The spokeswoman said, “Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern. In college, she was involved with the American Enterprise Institute and an active member of her school’s Model United Nations team. Prior to her internship at the White House, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party.”
Caroline worked alongside Zendaya and Bella Thorne on the show, although neither of them have made any comments about her new role.
Some people are super congratulatory, while others… not so much.
