It might be because it was Selena’s first EVER kiss on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and she was only 12… but still. We’re shook.
During Selena’s recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she admitted that it was actually Cole Sprouse that she had a massive crush on when she was younger.
“I was in love with Cole Sprouse…I was obsessed with that show and I thought we were going to be together one day.”
Unfortunately for Sel, she was handed the other brother… what a shame!!!
“I guest-starred on the show, but I kissed his brother and I didn’t get to kiss Cole…It was my first kiss—on-camera! It was one of the worst days of my life!”
Why?? Well, she has spoken about the kiss before, when chatting to Twist Magazine saying:
“I actually leaned in to kiss him, and I had my eyes closed a little too early and I ended up missing like half of his lip. It ended up being the most awkward kiss in the world. But I was 12 so it was okay and it was good.”
Thankfully, Selena was laughing while explaining the experience to Kelly, so we don’t think it really was that bad.
