If it isn’t blindingly obvious, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are SO in love.
They are constantly sharing adorable photos of each other on social media, and are spotted almost daily on a new, romantic date together.
One person who is a MAJOR fan of #Abelena, is Sel’s assistant Theresa Mingus, and she posted a really sweet photo and message on her Instagram over the weekend.
The photo was of Abelena at Harpers Bazaar‘s Icons party, looking adorable. She captioned it, “In an industry that’s so hard to be loyal and love, these two made it happen.”
But BOYYY it didn’t sit well with #Jelena fans, ya know, the ones who still ship Selena and her ex, Justin Bieber…
The nail in the coffin was when Theresa liked a comment that read, “When will [there] be [a] JELENA comeback?” and another comment that read, “NEVEERRR!!”
Then came the slew of comments calling #Abelena fake.
Yikes.
It’s pretty obvious that things ended horribly between Selena and Justin, because we all remember the time she called him out on Instagram for cheating on her.
And, judging by how happy she is with Abel, fans should definitely be supporting her new relationship. And Theresa definitely doesn’t deserve all the negative comments on her Instagram.
