The Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian has yet again kicked off, so for some reason, it’s time for celebs to pick their sides again…
After both Kim and Taylor shaded each other yesterday on social media, Sam Smith found himself in the middle of it, when asked by Andy Cohen whose side he was on.
The singer was appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a show where tea is usually spilt while playing “Plead The Fifth.”
“Taylor Swift, I don’t know her too well,” Sam began. “It’s been made out that we know each other, but I don’t know her too well. We’ve only met five times briefly,” he said, as Entertainment Tonight reports. “I know Kim more than I know Taylor….well, there’s no teams is there, really?”
Team Kim by default then?
Andy then pointed out that Sam went to Taylor’s birthday party.
“Yeah, but, I think a lot of people went…” Sam replied. “I got asked to go and it was great, but I didn’t get to chat one-on-one with her.”
When asked what he thought about the actual feud, he gave the most relatable answer ever. “I’d love to know all the details.”
However it’s not the first time Sam has kiiind of gotten salty towards Taylor.
When Taylor released Reputation, a twitter user named @DonnyV__35 wrote, “When someone thinks Taylor Swift is a better artist, singer, and songwriter than Sam Smith,” accompanied with a laughing GIF, and at the time, Sam ‘liked’ it.
He actually got called out for it though, and later retweeted a Swifties comment that said, “Maybe it was an accident. Sam would never do such a thing.”
So really, who the hell knows.
