Look… we can all agree that Riverdale is a little ridiculous. It’s got an insane storyline and the acting is really dramatic, but you can bet we will watch every damn episode religiously.
We love it.
However, the cast is still going to defend themselves when they hear someone talking smack about them online.
Most recently, it was YouTuber Elijah Daniel.
He tweeted, “does the riverdale fanbase know the show sucks and don’t care or do they just not know.”
Our main man KJ Apa (Archie Andrews) was first to jump on.
“Do your fans know that you’re a f*ckn idiot or do they just not care?”
YASS ARCHIE, BURN HIM.
Next came Ashleigh Murray, our Josie.
“Lol he’s worried about a fanbase when none of us know who he is. People recognize me from the back of my head. What do you do?”
Elijah took a real personal swipe at her, saying she wasn’t even that famous.
“i had to google who you were to even know you’re on that show & how are you bragging about how many fans you have when you have less followers than me like sis this is…..embarrassing. all i said was your show isn’t that good anymore why y’all SO mad i can’t breathe.”
She hit back, “*tweets KJ Apa: regular vernaculars *tweets black girl: LISTEN SIS nice try, Eminem, nice try.”
Even Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones) had his two cents thrown in.
“What a nice day to ruin my mood with social media.”
But nothing topped Lili Reinhart’s (Betty Cooper) reaction, who decided to remove herself from social media completely.
