Stars of the hit show Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge) and Jordan Connor (Sweet Pea) were set to head down under for Supanova’s Comic-Con show in Melbourne and the Gold Coast from April 5 – 12.
Unfortunately, the pair will no longer be able to make it.
The sad news was announced via Facebook.
“Supa-Fans: we have received the news that Camila Mendes and Jordan Connor have had to cancel their appearance at our Melbourne and Gold Coast shows, and in doing so, are sending their sincerest apologies to all of their fans.
“Camila wanted to share a personal message with fans: ‘Due to professional obligations, I deeply regret having to cancel my planned Australia appearances at the Supanova Melbourne and Gold Coast shows. I look forward to re-scheduling and coming to the beautiful country of Australia in the future!’
“Jordan, for the same professional obligations that stem from well-known unfortunate events, also needs to cancel.”
Sadly, those unfortunate events seem to be the death of co-star Luke Perry.
The post concluded it’s cancellation announcement with, “While upsetting for all of us, we hope you’ll join us in wishing them all the best and that we’ll see them sooner than later when the time is right.”
Sad, sad times!
