Controversial rapper R Kelly is facing yet another allegation of sexual assault, this time with his ex coming out and claiming in a documentary that he kept a teenage girl as his ‘pet’.
His ex, Kittie Jones, has claimed in a BBC doc R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes, that he was grooming the 14-year-old girl to be his “sexual pet”.
“I was introduced to one of the girls, that [R. Kelly] told me he ‘trained’ since she was 14, those were his words,” Kittie said. “I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine. That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets.”
Whoa.
According to Variety, she also said that the singer was “very abusive, physically, mentally, verbally. I think he gets some sort of satisfaction within himself, knowing that he’s taking control over other people.”
R. Kelly has faced multiple sexual abuse accusations over the past 20 years, however he has never been convicted of any crimes. He was found not-guilty for the possession of child pornography in 2008, after allegedly filming a 14-year-old girl.
There is no confirmation that it was the same girl Kittie is explaining.
More recently, he was accused of forcing women to join his “abusive cult. He called the accusations “a bunch of bull crap”.
R. Kelly has yet to respond to these new allegations.
