While performing at the Grammy Awards this week, Ariana Grande made a very obvious jab at ex-fiance Pete Davidson while performing on stage.

At the end of her set, the 26-year-old singer VERY obviously took a ring off her hand and placed it into a ring box, before smiling cheekily at the crowd.
Now, that’s saying something!!
“Started this era with a ring ending without one and @ArianaGrande came out one stronger of a f***ing human I adore you
,” one fan tweeted.
Ariana and Pete broke off their engagement in October 2018, so fans saw the symbolic move as a way of Ari telling her fans that she is well and truly moved on from that heartbreak. Two of the three songs were even inspired by Pete.
“Pete has moved on from Ariana, he’s well past being hurt by something like that,” they said. “He wasn’t watching the show [he was at a basketball game] but he heard all about it and he took it in stride. He’s not holding a grudge and wishes her well. Pete has nothing but good things to say about Ariana.”
Pete and Ariana started dating in 2018, announcing their engagement in May that year, one month into their relationship.
Five months later, they called off their engagement in October, shortly after Ariana’s ex-boyfriend Mac Miller tragically passed away.
