Thanks so Perrie Edwards, people are starting to accept freckles and scars as beautiful – which they are!
Perrie is constantly showing her fans her ‘imperfections’, and they absolutely love her for it.
Most recently, she posted a topless photo of herself at the beach, where you can see her bare face with freckles, along with a long scar on her stomach.
“Mermaids have freckles and scars too…embrace them. I think they’re beaut!” she wrote in the caption.
It’s not the first time she’s shown off her scar either.
In 2012 Perrie told Heat that she got the scar from a childhood surgery. “When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly,” she said. “I had to have lots of operations, so that’s why I don’t want to show it.”
“Your imperfection creates your perfection,” one fan wrote on her recent Instagram.
“Same scar as me—love this!” another said. “Your scar is pretty,” wrote another commenter.
