There’s nothing that sells a movie more than the actors hooking up IRL, and Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga have reallyyyyy pushed this narrative without even doing the deed – we think.
A Star Is Born went absolutely gangbusters in the box office, and fans were O B S E S S E D with the tragic love story. It’s a tale as old as time!
But now, during their press and promo (especially during awards season) fans are pushing for the pair to be together in real life, taking their on-screen chemistry as a forbidden love story that could be so much more IRL. But the truth is that Bradley Cooper is married to supermodel Irina Shayk, who they share a daughter with. As for Lady Gaga, she’s engaged to Christian Carino.
The fact is, they’re both in committed relationships. But, because of fantastic acting, the world wants them to dump their current partners to make a great story even better.
This incessant need for the perfect love story intensified earlier this week, when Gaga brought Bradley on stage during her Enigma show in Las Vegas, where they sang their hit duet “Shallows” together.
Basically, the following people need to chill.
Moral of the story? Two people of the opposite sex can work together and create something beautiful without them having to bang.
