Paris Jackson is going to be 2017’s It Girl, we’re calling it. But despite coming from a famous family, there’s so much we don’t know about Paris’ life growing up. Her father, King of Pop, Michael Jackson kept his three children well hidden from the prying eyes of cameras (remember that’s how Blanket got his name!), however Paris herself is starting to share small insights into her childhood.
In an interview with Harpers Bazaar (of which she’s on the cover looking epic) she reveals she was basically her dad’s #1:
“When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favourite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”
Daddy’s little girl is all grown up now and has also explained WHY she chose to step into the limelight, when she could have easily led a quiet, normal life:
“Plenty of times I’ve thought about not doing anything in the public eye and having my own private life. Then I started seeing how everything in the world is going. And I feel like each year it’s getting worse… I know there are a lot of people who would feel very blessed to be in my position, so I want to use it for important things.”
