Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj threw a major spanner in the works when she basically confirmed that she was dating Eminem.

The rapper was promoting her new song, “Big Bank,” with YG, Big Sean and 2 Chainz on Instagram when a fan innocently asked her, “You dating Eminem???”
“Yes,” she replied.
WHAT?
She raps, “Told ’em I met Slim Shady, bag the Em. Once he go black, he’ll be back again,” in “Big Bank.”
Fans totally lost it.
But is it even true?
Well, turns out it was one big fat joke.
Sources close to Nicki told TMZ, “the rapper was only joking” and that “there’s nothing romantic between the two.”
“Girl you know it’s true,” Eminem joked at the time.
“Babe, I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding,” Nicki responded to him. “Yikes. I’ll talk to you when I get home.”
Way to cause a sh*t storm over nothing.
