Colleen Ballinger, the YouTuber also known as ‘Miranda Sings‘ has come under fire after pretending to come out as gay to her fans, who have accused her of ‘queerbaiting’

The star uploaded a photo of herself with a rainbow background to Twitter, with the caption (riddled with intentional spelling mistakes), “surprice annuncement in 30 mins. ur not reddy.”
Fans who believed Colleen might have a serious announcement to make about her sexuality were left completely offended when it was all for clickbait.
Her post read: “i have secret… i am cuming out 2day 4 u all. this has ben so hard 2 cum 2 terms wit, but im proud. i stand be4 u 2day as a meghon traner fan. i hope u can al except me,” complete with a rainbow emoji.
It is completely insensitive and backwards for Colleen, who is a mother, to do, and fans were LOUD with their disgust.
They even began a #MirandaSingsIsOverParty on Twitter.
“reason no.1 why mirandasings isn’t funny anymore,” wrote on person.
